Peter Biggs - Founder & Horse Trainer and Clinician

Peter has over 50 years’ experience with horses. He was a student at Longreach Pastoral College, learning under renowned horseman Ken May. He went on to become senior horse instructor at Burdekin Agricultural College. He worked at stations across QLD and the NT, with cattle and horses until his mid 40s, then moved to SE QLD to set up Just Equus.

He has been involved in various horse disciplines including pony club, gymkhanas, one day events, camp drafting, western pleasure, reining, trail and cutting.

Pete has been fortunate to learn from some of the world’s leading horsemen and wants to share his experiences to help people achieve extraordinary things with their horse.

Eva Biggs - Founder & Manager

Eva is passionate about business and making a positive impact in the horse education industry by providing a platform for horse enthusiast to achieve extraordinary results with their horse.

Eva is an integral part of Just Equus, by being a key player in overseeing the operations and supporting each team member to promote Just Equus brand of becoming Australia’s leading horse clinics, training and education program.

Eva is consistently looking at ways to expand Just Equus brand and presence online. With plans in place for 2025, we will be releasing our first collection of Just Equus Boot Camp Series Video and our first Education book, to cater to the Australian and the overseas market.

Molli Fletcher - Assistant to Peter Biggs

Molli has loved horses since before she could even talk. Horses have been a huge part of her life to date and Molli is working hard to make sure they are a huge part of her future.

Molli has been riding since the tender age of three with pony club and at local gymkhanas.

Her love of horses has led her to want a career in the Equine industry as a horse trainer.

After a period of working with racehorses and being assistant to some of Australia’s elite riders, she has now found her home and is an integral member here at Just Equus.

Molli loves Peters gentle approach with the horses, his kind technique and holds him in in the highest regard. She plans to work hard alongside him and learn all she can whilst undertaking her veterinary studies.

Wade Biggs - Assistant to Peter Biggs

Wade is Pete’s youngest son and has taken a keen interest in horses after observing and watching his dad’s deep passion for horses and helping riders achieve more from their horse. As Wade embarks on his journey to becoming an aspiring horseman, he is learning the value of forging a deep connection built on trust, respect and understanding. He is currently home schooled which enables him to spend 2 days studying and the remaining 3 days working alongside his dad.

He loves riding #Chilli and started to take an interest with #Chilli’s daughter #Spice.

His goal is to be a great horsemen like his dad and also to become a pilot in the special forces.

YouTube Content Creator - Meika Elliot & Nicolas Frenzel

We are thrilled to introduce two new members to the Just Equus team this year, Meika Elliott and Nicolas Frenzel. They will be our new content creators, managing the Just Equus YouTube Channel.

Our YouTube Channel will showcase Just Equus Boot Camp Program, demonstrating some of the horses we train and educate, provide horse tips and educational material to help support the riders in achieving their horse goals.

Meika has a great depth of experience and knowledge about horse management. Previously, Meika was a manager of a large and successful thoroughbred stud in Beaudesert that produces over 50 yearlings.

Meika and Nicolas are no stranger to working with horses, and also have a deep passion for videography and showcasing the beauty of equestrian life.

Holli supports the Vision of Just Equus and what it aims to provide, a platform where horse and owner can achieve a true partnership, coupled with genuine kindness that is shown to each and every horse.

Accessing our Property

Address: 632 Brennan Road Allenview QLD, Google MAP

From Brooklands road turn into Saville Road. Drive along Saville Road, cross the railway line. Continue. until you come to Brennan Road and turn lefts. Drive along Brennan Road, crossing 4 cattle grids. After the fourth grid you will come to the end of Brenna Road and our property is located on the right right, you will see a mailbox with number “632” and our Just Equus sign. Follow this road, and go past dilapidated set of cattle yards on the left then over a dam wall. Continue up the hill, once up the hill you will see a blue shed on the right horse and arena on the left. Please have your vehicle in 4WD. Park near the blue shed (bottom of arena).

The Past

Peter’s love of horses started early. As a young boy he was enthralled by horses; how they moved, thought and interacted with each other. Like many, he dreamed of getting inside their heads. Unlike many, he followed his dreams and dedicated his entire life to working with and learning about horses. Now, he is dedicated to improving the relationship between horse and rider.

The Present

Peter is passionate about horses and the relationship between horse and rider. Through Just Equus, he helps people learn how to communicate with their horse and establish (or re-establish) a connection based on understanding and trust.

Peter teaches and demonstrates to people how to achieve extraordinary results with their horse. His clinics and Boot Camp program apply to all styles of riding.

Just Equus aims to provide eye opening approaches and answers. Building a connection on feel, timing and balance. Creating an environment where you work with the horse, rather than against it. You want your bodies to become one. This is our goal.

The Future

To continue to grow Just Equus. To evolve and facilitate the need for passionate horse lovers, who want to improve their relationship and understanding of their horse/s. To help people who have lost their confidence and want to get back to riding, to those who want to strengthen their relationship with their horse, and to pass it on to the next generation.

We want people to stay in touch with us, no matter where they live and be part of our horse journey. Let’s share our learnings together and help one another excel with our horses, no matter what discipline or age.
