2026 Reflection – Going Back to the Basics

As we wrap up 2025, on thing that stands out clearly.

Real progress with horses still comes back to the basics.

This year reminded us again that success isn’t built by rushing ahead, or chasing outcomes. It is build by taking the time to establish a solid foundation on the ground first where understanding, confidence and trust begin,

What you achieve on the ground transfer to you and your horse in the saddle. Horses continue to show us that they’re offering positives every step of the way. Our responsibility is to recognise them, acknowledge them and build from them and not to overlook them.

2025 also reinforced the importance of staying present and not becoming complacent. Growth comes from staying curious, doing the simple things well and being honest about where you are at.  Most importantly, this year was a reminder that horsemanship isn’t about a destination. It’s about journey you take with your horse.

Thank you to everyone who supported us; riders, followers and our team. Your commitment to doing the basics well is what makes real success possible. As we look ahead to 2026, I am grateful to continue doing what I love – helping you work towards your horse goals, your dreams and the unique journey we share with our horse.
